Volunteer With Gravesham Borough Youth FC
.jpg)
We are funded only by the training and subs fees we charge so we have to rely on the generosity of companies and parents like yourselves to provide additional support to our players.
This can vary from providing sponsorship for purchasing kit and equipment, to volunteering your free time to help us run the club.
You can also help by simply supporting our coaches on training and match days helping to put up/take down the goals/respect line or by volunteering to run the line. You can also help us organise events as part of our social committee. We are always in need of your support. On the next page there is a list of specific positions/areas we need an extra pair of hands.
Your support helps us to continue to be a diverse and inclusive club supporting all ages and abilities.
MINI’s
We’re looking for a young person aged between 14 - 17 who may be doing any kind of Childcare or Sport’s Btec, Sports Leadership or Duke of Edinburgh Award qualification who would like to volunteer helping coach our Mini’s (Reception / Y1). If you know anyone please ask them to get in touch.
WELFARE OFFICER
We currently have only two Welfare Officers for the whole club. Ideally we would like one Welfare Officer per team. You’d need to be present at games and known to your team’s parents as the person to contact if they want to report any concerns. We take safeguarding of the children who train with us very seriously. Training will be provided. Please contact us if you are interested in this role.
